Makes two servings. Or one really big serving!
How to make this THC honey bourbon cocktail
Combine simple syrup and honey in a glass without ice. Stir vigorously to combine. This works best if honey is slightly warmed to thin it out.
Fill cocktail shaker or large glass with 2 cups ice cubes. Add 3 ounces of whiskey, lemonade, lemon juice, and honey/simple syrup mixture. Stir.
Pour over ice in two glasses (or one big glass, you lush!)
How to make simple syrup
To make simple syrup, heat 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar to boil and reduce heat. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
How to make fresh lemonade
Combine 1 cup fresh or bottled lemon juice with 1 cup sugar and 2 quarts of cold water. Mix to combine, and serve over ice. This lemonade recipe tastes great by itself without bourbon too, although in the interests of full disclosure we don’t really recommend it that way.
How much THC is in this marijuana-infused honey whiskey lemonade cocktail?
Be careful when consuming cocktails with alcohol and THC, especially if it’s your first time!
This recipe calls for 1 teaspoon of THC honey that is prepared at a strength of 20 mg THC per teaspoon of honey. It makes two servings at 10mg THC. This low dosage is helpful if you’d like to consume multiple glasses. But be careful, marijuana edibles creep up on you while the alcohol hits you instantly, so don’t drink a couple of glasses quickly unless you know what you’re doing.
The strength of this recipe for this THC Honey can easily be adjusted for a stronger or weaker ratio of cannabis if desired, see that page to learn how. But we’ve found that making this marijuana-infused honey whiskey lemonade cocktail at 10 mg THC per serving allows us to have multiple servings per session. Good times.
